Moringa Powder/(Drumstick leaved powder) Jowar Roti !!

Moringa powder / dry drumsticks powder jawar roti, also known as Nugget soppin pudi jolada rotti, are gluten-free flatbread made from sorghum flour. 

I also used cucumber, fresh spinach leaves, and some dry spices along with Moringa powder to make it more nutritious and delicious.

They are a healthy option for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Jowar, or sorghum, is a gluten-free whole grain, and it is a rich source of fiber and protein. Including jowar in your diet has many health benefits.

This Drumstick powder Jowar /Sorghum  Roti has to be made fresh and served hot straight from the stove. If made and kept, it tends to get brittle and hard and does not remain soft.

Drumstick leaves powder Moringa leaves powder  (‘Nugeekayi soppin pudi' in Kannada) is a significant source of beta-carotene, Vitamin C, protein, iron, and Potassium. It’s widely used in the dal and curries. 

Ingredients:
2 cups Jower /Sorghum Flour (Jolad Hittu)

2 Green Chillies, finely chopped

1/2 cup.finely chopped organic spinach

1/4 cup.grated organic cucumber

1/4 teaspoon turmeric

1/4 teaspoon garam masala 

1 inch Ginger, grated

2 tablespoon Drumstick Leaves powder  
(Moringa/Nugge sopping pudi) 

1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder
Salt, to taste 


Method:
To begin making the Moringa powder  Jowar Roti Recipe combines all the ingredients like the Jowar flour, grated cucumber, green chilies, ginger, chopped spinach leaves drumstick powder, black pepper powder and turmeric powder,garam masala in a large mixing bowl.
Add little water at a time and knead the dough for about 3 to 4 minutes until Isoft and smooth. 
The next step is to cook the Moringa powder, Jowar Roti.

Preheat a cast-iron skillet.

Place a portion of the Jowar roti dough on parchment paper, dust it with little flour and dip your hand in the water and pat the roti as thinly as possible place it on the preheated tawa.
Cook on both sides on medium heat until the roti is cooked and lightly crisp.
Once done, remove from heat and serve the hot Moringa Powder Jowar Roti. Proceed the same way with the remaining dough portions.
