Stuffed Mushrooms

Stuffed Mushrooms:

Stuffed mushrooms with a creamy and cheesy vegetarian filling. These are easy to make, high on flavors and an excellent appetizer to serve at any party.

Tried this lip-smacking recipe today ..as we wanted to have these appetizers from last week and finally, I made them today!!  They tasted heavenly delicious🤤

Mushrooms are low in calories and are an excellent source of fiber and protein. They are packed with nutritional value and provide important vitamins. You should definitely try and include mushrooms in your diet.

Let's jump to the recipe:

Ingredients:
( I have used all organic ingredients)
 8 to 20 -  baby mushrooms ( I don't get baby mushrooms so used the regular mushrooms)
 
For Marination:
2 - Tablespoon yogurt
1 - Tablespoon gram flour
1/2 - Teaspoon raw mango powder 
1- Teaspoon Kashmiri red chilly powder 
1/8 - teaspoon turmeric 
1/2 - Teaspoon gram masala 
1- teaspoon ginger garlic paste 
Salt to taste 

For Stuffing:
1- Teaspoon oil 
1/2 -Onion finely chopped
1/2 - capsicum finely chopped
1- green chilly finely chopped 
1- Tablespoon marination
1 - Tablespoon Cilantro leaves
1 - Tablespoon mozzarella cheese 
Mushroom stems roughly chopped
Breadcrumbs of a slice of bread and salt to taste.

Method:
1. Rinse the mushrooms and pat dry with a clean kitchen towel, remove the stem(chop finely and reserve), discard the brown gills gently by scooping it out with the help of a spoon. Coat the mushroom caps with oil and set aside.
2. In a bowl mix all the marination ingredients and keep aside.
3. In a pan, heat oil add and sauté the rest of the stuffing ingredients in it and let the mixture cool down to room temperature.
4. Once the mixture cools down add cilantro, bread crumbs, mozzarella cheese salt, and mix well.
5. Cost the mushroom cups with the marination and stuff them with the mixture and fry in a  pan by drizzling some oil placing the stuffed side down.
6. Flip over once the mushrooms are brown in the color . Cover the pan with the lid and cook for 7 minutes.
Serve them immediately and enjoy!!
