Avocado Paratha
Avocado Paratha !!
Avocado Paratha recipe is an Indian Whole Wheat Flatbread prepared by kneading whole wheat flour and avocado pulp together with few spices. It comes out very soft, requires less oil and healthy. It is perfect for breakfast or kids lunch box.
I usually make Guacamole when there are avocados at home, but if you have over-ripened avocados and thinking of Indian recipes ,these parathas are the go to solution.
Ingredients:
(I have used all organic ingredients)

• 1/8 tsp asafoetida (hing)
• 1 Tbsp green chili (finely chopped)
• 1 Tbsp cilantro (finely chopped)
• 1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp Chaat masala
Also need
• 1/4 cup whole wheat flour (for rolling the paratha)

Method:
1. Peel the avocado skin and cut it horizontally with a sharp knife carefully. Scoop out the pulp from it.
2. Mash the pulp using a fork or a potato masher.
3. Add the spices – carom seeds, red chili powder or black pepper powder, cumin seed powder, coriander powder chast masala and salt. Add lemon juice and mix well.
4. Dont skip adding lemon to avocados ,otherwise mixture will turn brown.
5. Next add whole wheat flour. Mix well.
6. Knead to a smooth dough, adding little water if required.Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.

10. Once you see bubbles ,flip on to other side drizzle some ghee or oil on top.
11. Flip again and drizzle oil or ghee on the other side as well till they have nice golden spots on both sides.
12. Serve avocado paratha with curd, pickle, raita ,ketchup or any gravy of your choice.
