Potati Cheese Balls

Baked Potato Cheese balls :
These delicious crispy  Potato cheese balls make an awesome party appetizer.

These are flavorful, addictive, and will be loved by kids and grown-ups alike. Cheese balls can be made in many different ways. The recipe shared here is super quick to make and the cheese balls can be deep-fried, pan-fried, or even baked.

I have baked them as I wanted to make it a healthier version...
 
Let’s jump to the recipe:

Ingredients: (I have used all organic ingredients)
  • 2 potato aloo, boiled & mashed
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  • 2 tbsp cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs
  • 1/4th teaspoon cumin powder 
  • 1/2 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt
  • 1 slice bread ( I used oats bread )
  • 10 cubes cheese,(I have used Horizon organic mozzarella cheese
  • For corn flour batter:
    • 2 tablespoons cornflour
    • 2 tablespoons plain flour
    • 1/4th teaspoon chilly flakes 
    • 1/4th teaspoon salt
    • 1/4th cup water
Baking Method:
  • Preheat the oven 400 degrees F  .Keep aside a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl take 2 boiled and mashed potatoes, add all the remaining ingredients including 1 slice bread ( just make breadcrumbs by grinding it)
  •  Make a soft non-sticky dough. keep aside.
  •  Take a ball sized mixture and flatten slightly.
  • Place cubed cheese in the center.
  •  Get the edges together and stuff the cheese well.
  • Form a smooth ball, making sure there are no cracks. Dip it in corn and plain flour paste.
  • Next roll in crushed breadcrumbs covering uniformly and bake them.
