You need to try this easy Cherry Clafoutis recipe! This dense and velvety dessert packed with fresh cherries is much simpler to put together than it looks. With a few basic ingredients, you’ll be sure to impress your family and friends!!

I love the summer. So many fruits, so many possibilities for desserts. One of my favorite things to bake in the summer is clafoutis. If you haven’t heard of this French dessert before, then this is a sign that you must try it. 
Looking for a way to use up a stash of cherries? I’ve got you covered. This simple thin batter will make the perfect unique dessert that you can enjoy all on your own or you can share it with friends!! 

What is Clafoutis?
This is a very famous French dessert!!
This treat is traditionally made with cherries and a thin flan-like batter baked in a buttered dish. It can be made with all sorts of different fruits!

Without wasting time let’s jump to the recipe :

Ingredients:
1 cup    - fresh cherry 
1/3 cup -Semolina
1/4 cup - Coconut Sugar/ any sugar
1/2 cup -Almond milk / regular milk 
2 teaspoon- Tahini
1/2teaspoon - vanilla essence.
Powdered sugar for dusting.

Method :
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Keep aside a 6-inch cake pan lined with parchment paper and put all the deseeded cherries.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the semolina, coconut sugar, and baking powder. Add tahini almond milk vanilla extract, whisk well. Let the batter stand for at least 10 minutes while you prepare the fruit.
3. Transfer all the batter into the greased pan and place in the oven.
4. Bake for 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes 
5. (Optional) Sprinkle powdered sugar on top and serve !!
