Double Chocolate Popsicle !!

Double Chocolate Popsicle !! 


With summer drawing to an end, there has been a push in my house to make as many frozen treats as we can before the leaves start to change and the cold weather comes to stay for a while. One of the creations being devoured at our house is these delightfully rich and creamy Double Chocolate popsicles !!
These Creamy Chocolate popsicles have to be my favorite. Bringing back memories of chasing down the ice cream truck as a kid, I would always get a Chocolate Popsicle.

This popsicle is full of chocolate flavor and comforting creaminess. The trick to both is a good quality unsweetened cocoa powder,  vanilla paste unsweetened dark chocolate chips, and heavy cream. 

Ingredients:
1 cup - Heavy Cream 
1/2 cup - sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoon- unsweetened cocoa powder 
1 teaspoon - vanilla paste or vanilla extract 
1/2 cup unsweetened dark chocolate ( to make a chocolate shell for popsicle 

Method:
In a large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream.Whisk until well-combined. Add understand cocoa powder and combine well. 
Now pour the mixture in a square shape cake pan lined with parchment paper and keep it in the refrigerator overnight to set.
Next day cut the ice cream in the desired shape and insert popsicle sticks !!!
If you have a popsicle mold using a ladle carefully pour the mixture into popsicle molds, being careful not to overfill. Cover and place stick in the molds. Freeze overnight. 

Before serving the popsicles, place the dark unsweetened chocolate chips in a safe microwave dish. Add teaspoon of coconut oil and melt in 30 seconds intervals until melted.
Now transfer the melted chocolate in a long glass and dip the popsicle in the melted chocolate and cover the popsicle with chocolate completely and if you like crushed cashew at peanut on top you can sprinkle and refrigerate it for another 10 minutes.

Surprise!!! The super yummy popsicles are ready to enjoy!!!
