BBQ Cauliflower Bites (Tandoori Gobhi )


Tandoori Gobhi /BBQ Cauliflower Bites are a healthy alternative to many of the calorie-packed appetizers and side dishes we love and crave. These are a delicious and healthy snack to accompany the evening cup of tea.

BBQ  Cauliflower is very simple to make, requires minimal preparation, and tastes super tasty. It is one of the best ways to stuff yourself with the goodness of cauliflower without indulging in too many calories. 

This is healthy, low in calories, and a gluten-free snack!! Isn’t it cool !! 

So what are we waiting let’s look at the recipe!!

Ingredients:
Cauliflower – 15 to 20 florets
Curd – 1 cup
Gram(Besan)Flour – 14 cup
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Red Chilli powder – 3/4 tsp
Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
Chat Masala powder – a pinch
Jeera powder – 1/4 tsp
Ajwain – 1/8 tsp
Kasoori Methi – 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice – 1/2 tsp
Oil – 2 tsp
Salt – to taste

Method:
. Clean cauliflower and cut into small even-sized florets. Parboil cauliflower with salt….It should be soft yet crunchy enough to bite, Drain, and Set aside. 
. Dry roast besan flour till slightly browned and nice aroma rises, keep aside.
. Add a cup of curd to a muslin cloth and hang it for 30mins. Then add the thick hung curd and mix it with all other ingredients except the veggie.
Mix well to form a smooth thick batter.
. Now add the cauliflower pieces and mix well keep it in a refrigerator for an hour.
After an hour take out the marinated florets from the refrigerator.
. Now heat the pan add 2 teaspoon oil and place the florets one by one and let them bake for 2 minutes now gently turn and let them bake for 2 minutes another side in a medium flame.
. Now place them in a plate and sprinkle some chat masala on top and serve them hot with the ketchup or green chutney!
