Stuffed Green Chilly (Jalapeno) Fry !!

Eating regular curries and vegetables. However, the taste pallet demands something mouth-watering! 

There is no need to go an extra mile, just look around your kitchen, there is all you need to make a hot, sizzling stuffed green chili dish!!

Today is Friday weekend special I  made these stuffed green chilies along with Daal and Jeera rice.

These stuffed chilies are prepared from stuffing the peanut-based spice mix to green chilies and these are pan-fried until crisp.

Let's jump to the recipe:


INGREDIENTS

10 green chili, I have used jalapeno's

3/4  cup peanut powder

 1/2 tsp turmeric  

1/2 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder 

1 tsp coriander powder

 1/2 tsp cumin powder 

1 tsp garam masala

1 tsp dry mango powder

1/2 tsp fennel powder 

Pinch of asafoetida

1/2  tsp salt 

2 tbsp oil

Method : 
In a large mixing bowl take peanut powder. To prepare peanut powder dry roast peanuts and remove the skin. further blend to a coarse powder.

Add in turmeric, chili powder,  coriander powder, cumin powder,  garam masala, dry mango powder, fennel powder, pinch of hing, and salt. Combine all the ingredients well.

Now slit the jalapeno's and remove the seeds with the help of the back of the spoon.
Stuff approximately 2-3 tsp of prepared peanut stuffing. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and place stuffed jalapenos.
Cook for a minute or until the blisters appear on chili .flip the chillis and cook on all sides keeping the flame on medium.

once the chills are cooked from all sides, 
finally, serve stuffed chilly fry as an appetizer or as a side dish with your dinner.
